ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES OF STUDY AT BITIC, BAHRAIN The University centre at Bahrain (BITIC) offers the following Programmes during the forthcoming academic year (subject to a minimum batch strength). 4-Year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Programmes in
Candidates admitted to 4-year degree programmes in engineering at BITIC, Bahrain, will be required to study first two years at BITIC, Bahrain, and last two years in one of the extension centres of Birla Institute of Technology, in India. Few seats may be available at the parent university which will be filled up based on the criteria as stipulated by the university.Fee at prevalent rates, will be applicable in India at that point of time. BIT has a tie-up with the Leeds University of UK wherein, students will have an option to continue the last two years of their studies in selected branches of engineering degree programme at Leeds University subject to fulfilling all the requirements. On successful completion of the course he/she will be eligible for the award of M. Eng. Degree from the Leeds University and BE degree from BIT, Mesra, Ranchi . Fee at prevalent rates, will be applicable in University of Leeds at that point of time. 3-Year Bachelor Degree programme in

The academic year normally starts from September 1 st of each year. There shall be two normal semesters in an academic year, with Fall Semester from September to February and Spring Semester from February to June. For MBA programme, the basic unit of study is a Trimester . |
